I work with women who feel anxious, burnt out, or disconnected from themselves

Welcome to Inner Glimmer Counselling with Beth
Online across the UK and in Oxford

You might find yourself:

  • overthinking conversations long after they’ve happened

  • worrying you’ve upset someone, or got something wrong

  • putting other people’s needs, feelings, or expectations before your own

  • struggling to know what you really want, or how to ask for it

  • feeling emotionally exhausted, anxious, or unlike yourself

  • feeling like your life isn’t your own

You may have spent years adapting without fully realising it.

Often, these patterns have early roots.

You may have learned, through your relationship with a parent or primary caregiver, that being loved, or even surviving, meant adapting:
shrinking,
striving,
keeping the peace,
or putting your own needs to one side.

Over time, this can leave you disconnected from yourself, unsure of your worth, or constantly looking outward for reassurance, direction, or permission.

My therapy offers a space to begin understanding these patterns with care and curiosity, rather than judgement.

I offer a calm, reflective, trauma-informed space where we can explore:

  • how these patterns developed

  • how they continue to affect your relationships and sense of self

  • what it might mean to relate to yourself differently

This isn’t about becoming a different person or forcing change before you’re ready.

It’s about creating more room for you:
your thoughts,
your feelings,
your needs,
your choices.

I also offer counselling for therapists and others in caring roles who may be experiencing burnout, stress, or the emotional impact of their work.

I am an integrative counsellor based in Oxford.
I offer:

  • in-person counselling in Oxford

  • online therapy across the UK

I am fully qualified and an Accredited Professional Registrant with the NCPS.

If you would like to book free, no-obligation call to give us a chance to briefly talk through what you’re looking for, and whether working together feels like a good fit contact me.
